Detailed Description of Elevator Door Slider
Also known as door shoe or door guide shoe, the elevator door slider is a wearable core component installed at the bottom of elevator car doors and landing doors. It slides inside the sill groove and works with the top door hang roller to control the door moving track.
Constructed as an integrated molded part with sliding body and mounting fastener, it is available in UHMWPE, glass-filled nylon, PU and rubber materials for diverse working conditions. UHMWPE type is the standard OEM choice for high-frequency passenger elevators featuring self-lubrication and high wear resistance; nylon version suits dusty freight elevators.
Main Functions
1. Provide bottom guiding and positioning to prevent door swaying and derailment;
2. Bear lateral force to avoid door tipping for safety protection;
3. Reduce friction and noise, and protect the metal sill from scratch damage.
It operates stably at -20℃ to +60℃, compatible with Otis, Kone, Mitsubishi and other mainstream elevator brands for direct replacement, maintenance-free and easy to install.
